About IFiT Club
IFiT Club is a fitness community founded on 10th December 2017 by Prabhu A P, with Duraisamy T P serving as the President. The club began as a simple WhatsApp group created to encourage people to maintain a minimum of 30 minutes of daily workout and to track consistency among members. What started with just 7 members has now grown into a vibrant community of 240+ fitness enthusiasts, inspiring people to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Today, IFiT Club is more than just a fitness group. It helps people build healthy habits, stay motivated, and improve both physical and mental well-being. Through regular activities, group runs, and fitness challenges, the club inspires individuals to lead an active lifestyle and become better every day.

The Story That Built IFiT
The foundation of IFiT Club is rooted in a deeply personal and transformative journey. In 2017, founder Prabhu A P faced serious challenges with high blood pressure and mental stress, which affected both his physical health and inner peace. At a turning point in his life, he made a simple yet powerful decision — to take control by starting a daily morning workout routine.
What began as a small step soon became a life-changing breakthrough. Within just one month, he experienced not only a significant improvement in his physical condition but also a renewed sense of mental clarity, confidence, and emotional strength. This transformation reshaped his perspective on life and revealed the true power of consistency. Driven by this realization, he founded IFiT Club with a clear purpose — to help others discover their strength, overcome challenges, and transform their lives through disciplined, consistent fitness habits.
🇮🇳 Republic Day 26 KM Run – Erode
On the occasion of Republic Day, more than 100 members of IFiT Club started their run early in the morning at 4:30 AM.
They covered a distance of 26 kilometers, running across various parts of Erode city with great enthusiasm and unity.
Participants proudly carried the Indian National Flag and completed the run as a tribute to the nation.
This event reflected strong discipline, dedication, teamwork, and a shared commitment towards fitness and patriotism.

My running journey began at IFIT Club when I could run just 5–10 km, weighing 89 kg. With consistent effort and the incredible support of fellow runners, I gradually progressed—from 21 km to 20 milers, and eventually to completing full marathons.
Today, I’m proud to call myself an ultra runner, capable of conquering 50K, 80K, and even 100K distances.
The year 2025 stands out as a truly remarkable chapter in my journey. One of my most memorable achievements was the 12-hour stadium run, where I covered 80 km. That experience taught me the true meaning of endurance and mental strength, pushing me toward my next milestone—the 100K Ultra Malnad.
I’m deeply grateful to my IFIT family for their constant motivation and support. This is just the beginning, and I look forward to achieving even greater milestones in the coming year with all your encouragement.

I started my running journey in July 2024 as a complete beginner, not knowing how far it would take me. Within just two months, I broke my own limits with two sub-1 hour 10K finishes — a moment that made me believe I was capable of more.
But the journey was not without setbacks. During the Erode Marathon, I suffered an injury that forced me into months of rest and uncertainty. What followed was not just physical recovery, but a test of patience and mindset.
In 2025, I returned stronger. I completed the TCS 10K in 63 minutes, achieved another sub-1 hour 10K at Sivagiri, and stepped into a new chapter by finishing my first Half Marathon in Tiruppur (2:13), followed by Kangayam (2:15). Each run was a step forward, rebuilding not just fitness, but belief.
While preparing for a major event in Coimbatore, life presented its toughest challenge — a personal loss in my family. It took me away from running for nearly three months. During that silence, I learned that sometimes strength is not about pushing harder, but about holding on.
And then, I came back.
With renewed purpose, I returned to the road and completed a 3-hour endurance run at Yellow Trackathon, covering 25 km — a milestone that meant far more than distance. It was proof that no setback is permanent.
Today, I stand focused on my next goal — the full marathon (42 km) at Wipro.
This journey is not just about running. It is about falling, healing, losing, and rising again. It is about resilience, consistency, and the courage to start over — every single time.

I actively participated in the daily running activities organized by the club. Initially, I had very little knowledge about running and marathons. Soon after I joined, the team planned to organize the Erode Marathon conducted by Erode Runners, and I had the opportunity to be part of the organizing team, which was a great experience for me.
